Pasted Chinese stickers, insulted ISRO scientists: PM Modi lambasts DMK at public rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the ruling party DMK for trying to take credit for ISRO’s new space port in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli. PM Modi accused the DMK of pasting stickers of China on ISRO advertisements to claim credit for the launch, insulting our own scientists in the process.

Addressing a public rally, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for ISRO’s second space port, which is expected to be operational in two years. He condemned the DMK for using taxpayers’ money for their own political interests and urged the people to hold them accountable for their actions.

DMK minister Anitha R Radhakrishnan stirred controversy by sharing a poster linking the new space facility with China, in an apparent attempt to undermine India’s achievements in the space sector. PM Modi also criticized the DMK’s lawmakers for walking out of Parliament during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir, calling it a display of their disregard for majoritarian beliefs.
