The White House Faith Office was created by President Donald Trump on Thursday, and he instructed Attorney General Pam Bondi to lead a task force to end anti-Christian bias.
The task will also be overseen by the other members of the Republican Cabinet. President Trump signed an executive order on Thursday which sought to protect the religious freedom of all American citizens and put an end to anti-Christian bias in the government.

Trump, who had attended two prayer breakfasts on Thursday, also accused the Democratic Party of opposing religion and God.
Paula White’s Appointment to Donald Trump’s ‘White House Faith Office’ Sparks Controversy
However, the naming of Florida televangelist Paula White as head of the White House Faith Office has sparked a fresh controversy. Paula has served as Trump’s personal pastor and a long-term spiritual advisor. She is an ardent Trump supporter and called him the people’s President and an ardent champion of religion.
At the start of her career, she was known as a supporter of the African-American community and had also served as an advisor for pop singer Michael Jackson and MLB star Darryl Strawberry.
She was also deeply involved in the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, which was the fallout of George Floyd’s murder. However, she became critical of the BLM movement after the defeat of Donald Trump in the 2020 elections.
Paula then stated that love for Christ is not attributed to gender but to culture. It is also not a product of ethnicity or found in the KKK, Antifa, or Black Lives Matter. She dubbed all the above entities as anti-Christ and terror groups.
Her recent appointment by the Trump Administration has once again ignited debate about her complicated relationship with the Black community.
Netizens have taken to social media to give their views on the appointment. One netizen wrote on X,
“Omg. Just when you think you’ve seen everything. Does that mean he will stop slamming Joe Biden and she will teach him ways to handle his insecurities regarding him?”
A second person asked,
“Well, this is not good. Who advised him that this was a good idea?”
A third netizen wrote,
“Someone needs to tell Trump this woman is a false prophet/teacher. And he should stay away from her. If he is serious about salvation, he should look for a minister who teaches the Word of God. He does not have discernment in spiritual matters.”
Her relationship with the Black community is not the only controversy she has been associated with.
Earlier, she received flak for observing Passover, fasting for the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur, proclaiming that the blood of Jesus protects Christians, and wearing a tallit.
Her views, like allegations that demonic forces are trying to hijack the elections, led to many orthodox Christian leaders labelling her as a heretic.
