Payal Rohatgi expresses regret over missing Startup Mahakumbh with PM Modi

Mumbai, March 20 (IANS) Payal Rohatgi, who attended an art exhibition at the India International Centre, expressed regret for not being aware of the presence of PM Modi at the Startup Mahakumbh event. She praised PM Modi for nurturing the startup ecosystem in the country during an interview with IANS TV.

Rohatgi, who is working on her own healthy living and fitness startups, visited the exhibition curated by Neville Tuli’s Tuli Research Centre for India Studies. She highlighted PM Modi’s efforts to encourage inventive young entrepreneurs and wished she had known about the event earlier to be a part of it.

PM Modi attended the three-day Startup Mahotsav, stating that it brings together stakeholders from the world of startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Rohatgi spent time exploring the exhibition, particularly focusing on the section dedicated to Manoj Kumar films, film posters by Pandit Ram Kumar Sharma, and Salim-Javed’s screenplays.

Reflecting on the technological advancements in filmmaking since the era of Manoj Kumar’s classic ‘Kranti’, Rohatgi acknowledged the significant changes in the industry. She commended PM Modi’s commitment to supporting startups and fostering innovation in the country.
