Pedro Pascal says 'I'm a little drunk' during SAG awards acceptance speech

Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal was honoured with the award for male actor in a drama series at the 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in ‘The Last of Us’. However, his acceptance speech took a hilarious turn when he revealed he was a little drunk.

Pascal confessed on stage, “I’m a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk. I’m making a fool of myself but thank you so much for this! To the nominees, all of you, I can’t remember any of your names right now.” Despite his tipsy state, he held back tears and expressed his gratitude to his family before abruptly ending his speech.

The actor’s win comes after Kieran Culkin won the same award at the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards earlier this year. Pascal has been making headlines this award season with his viral moments, including joking at the Emmy Awards about a shoulder injury sustained from a fictional altercation with Culkin.

Pascal’s emotional yet comical acceptance speech at the SAG Awards left the audience entertained and showcased his genuine appreciation for the honour. Despite his surprise win, he managed to captivate the audience with his candid and humorous remarks, making the evening even more memorable for all in attendance.
