A shocking video that has since gone viral shows a Physicswallah teacher teaching an online class being assaulted. Physics Wallah’s teacher was slapped and beaten by a student in a live class.
The shocking video of Physics Wallah teaching being beaten in a live class has left many netizens disgusted and apprehensive.
If teachers in a live class are not safe, what can be said about thousands of other teachers in the length and breadth of this country who are imparting priceless education to the students?
The video which is viral on many social platforms shows a student beating a Physics Wallah teacher who was teaching in a live class with a slipper. The teacher quickly ducked but this did not deter the student who continued with his disgusting act. The student eventually made an unceremonious exit from the class.

The incidents only show the slow erosion of the teacher–student bond and the fall in the high respect which teachers had in this country for ages.
It is still not clear what provoked the student to do this act but the video has since become viral and trending on different social media platforms like Twitter, and Reddit sparking outrage and discussions. The nine-second clip was first shared ‘The Tatva’ on YouTube, where it quickly gained attention.
The incident also raises questions about the safety and respect of teachers regardless of the fact that the teaching faculty is online or happens in a classroom of hundreds of schools scattered across the nation.
Netizens Reaction
Many netizens who have seen the video are ridiculing the student for his act which is highly condemnable. Many netizens are trying to understand the context which provoked the student to do this deplorable act.
There is a need to provide a respectful and safe learning environment, whether it’s in a physical classroom or a virtual one. It is also the responsibility of teachers as well as students to have mutual respect in equal measure so that a safe and conducive atmosphere is created in any educational setup.
