PKL 10: Players' bonding helped us reach Playoffs, says Haryana Steelers head coach Manpreet Singh
The Haryana Steelers secured the final spot in the Season 10 Playoffs of the Pro Kabaddi League by defeating the Patna Pirates 39-32. Head coach Manpreet Singh credited the players’ strong bonding on the mat for their achievement. The Steelers joined Puneri Paltan, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Dabang Delhi K.C., Patna Pirates, and Gujarat Giants in the Playoffs.
Manpreet Singh expressed his happiness in securing a Playoffs spot during the team’s home leg and emphasized the importance of the players’ strong bond on the mat. He also highlighted the impact of the younger players’ bond with the seniors in the side.
Reflecting on the team’s performance against the Patna Pirates, Manpreet acknowledged the surprise factor of the opponent’s new players. He admitted that the team took some time to understand the movements of the Patna Pirates but ultimately played well.
Looking ahead to the next match, the head coach revealed plans to try a few new players in the upcoming three league-stage matches. However, he emphasized the team’s determination to win every game and assured that they would make a plan for all the players in the U Mumba squad.
