PKL 10: Puneri Paltan set to challenge Haryana Steelers for championship title
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) final will see Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers competing for the championship title at GMC Balayogi Sports Complex, Hyderabad on the 10th season. Puneri Paltan, who lost in the final last season, seeks their first PKL trophy, while Haryana Steelers aim for their maiden win in the league.
Puneri Paltan, with a full roster and skipper Aslam Inamdar leading the charge, topped the league table with an impressive performance in Season 10. The team’s defensive stalwart Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh and raiders Mohit Goyat and Pankaj Mohite have been instrumental in their success throughout the season.
In the semi-final, Puneri Paltan captain Inamdar commended his team’s efforts, stating, “A captain is as good as his team. My confidence is high because of the way we have been raiding and defending. We are prepared both mentally and physically for the final and will strive to win the trophy.”
On the other hand, the Haryana Steelers, led by young skipper Jaideep Dahiya and coached by Manpreet Singh, have impressed with their performance this season. Jaideep expressed confidence in his team’s abilities, acknowledging the tough competition from Puneri Paltan but asserting their determination to win the championship.
Both teams are geared up for an intense showdown in the PKL final, with Puneri Paltan aiming to claim their first title and Haryana Steelers ready to showcase their talent and fight for the trophy in what promises to be an exciting finale to Season 10.
