PM Modi: Action against corruption will not stop

Meerut, March 31 (IANS) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, emphasizing that action against corruption will continue relentlessly. He highlighted the upcoming elections as a battle against corrupt practices, urging the public to prioritize the nation over personal interests.

PM Modi stated, “Modi bhrashtracharion ke aage jhukega nahi (Modi will not bow in front of corrupt). Some big corrupt people are behind bars for carrying out corruption.” He highlighted the progress and development achieved under his leadership, highlighting India’s increasing credibility globally.

The Prime Minister emphasized the transformative changes brought about in the last decade, mentioning significant milestones like the construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He expressed confidence in the country’s future and outlined plans for further growth and development in the upcoming years.

PM Modi shared his close connection with Meerut, underlining it as the starting point for his election campaigns in the past and for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized that the next election is not just about forming a government but about shaping a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised PM Modi’s leadership and vision for transforming India and Uttar Pradesh. He highlighted the removal of obstacles hindering development in the state, attributing the progress to PM Modi’s initiatives and policies. The rally witnessed the presence of NDA allies and supporters from various political parties.

The event also saw the participation of RLD Chief Jayant Chaudhary, who recently accepted the Bharat Ratna award on behalf of his grandfather. Chaudhary reiterated the importance of acknowledging the contributions of farmers, youth, soldiers, and social workers in shaping the country.
