PM Modi holds meeting with CMs of BJP-ruled states to discuss poll preparations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Sunday. The meeting was held to review the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and to discuss public welfare schemes and the progress of the ‘Sampark Abhiyan’ reaching beneficiaries, according to sources.

In the Chief Minister’s Council party meeting, Prime Minister Modi reiterated his remarks in his concluding speech at the BJP’s national convention meeting held on Sunday. The main emphasis of the meeting with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers was on listening to their grievances and discussing the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in their respective states.

The Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states informed about the progress of various campaigns, including the ‘Gaon Chalo’ campaign, and contacted the beneficiaries. The Prime Minister also enquired about the good steps taken by all BJP-ruled states.

The meeting was attended by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states.
