PM Modi: India condemns despicable terror attack, stands in solidarity with Russia during this tragic time

In an unfortunate turn of events, a heinous terrorist attack in Moscow has left more than 60 people dead and several others injured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Russia, condemning the attack and offering thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families.

The attack took place at a concert hall in Moscow on Friday, where gunmen stormed the venue during a concert, firing at the crowd indiscriminately. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, which resulted in over 100 injuries and the venue being set on fire.

The attackers, who did not attempt to take hostages or make any statements, have barricaded themselves inside the burning building. As the situation unfolds, the toll is expected to rise, according to the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reported receiving condolences and condemnation from people worldwide following the tragic incident. The international community has stood in solidarity with Russia in the wake of this brutal terrorist attack.
