PM Modi ridicules Congress and INDIA bloc as ‘lazy’, claims ‘one top leader uninterested in LS campaign’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while campaigning in Bihar’s Nawada district, criticized the INDIA alliance for internal turmoil and lack of unity leading up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He took a dig at the Congress for laziness and attacked the INDIA bloc on various issues such as the Ram Temple and Article 370.

Addressing a large gathering in Nawada, PM Modi highlighted the internal conflicts within the INDIA alliance and mocked their inability to decide on a leader. Without naming anyone, he mentioned a top leader who was reluctant to join the campaign unless projected as a Prime Ministerial candidate.

The Prime Minister also criticized the Congress for lethargy and quoted former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat’s statement about party members becoming lazy. He took aim at the INDIA bloc for opposing his guarantees, questioning whether they were afraid of his promises.

Furthermore, PM Modi accused the INDIA bloc of punishing Ram Bhakts and attempting to eradicate Sanatan Dharma. He urged people not to forgive them for their actions and criticized the Congress for releasing a manifesto that resembled the Muslim League’s ideals.

This was PM Modi’s second rally in Bihar, following his first in Jamui district. The Prime Minister’s remarks shed light on the ongoing political dynamics in the state ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
