PM Modi to embark on campaign trail in Saharanpur, Pushkar, and Ghaziabad, while Congress schedules ‘mega’ rallies in Jaipur and Hyderabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi sets to kick off his Lok Sabha election campaign in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur and Ghaziabad and Rajasthan’s Ajmer on Saturday with a series of public meetings and roadshows. PM Modi will be accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other prominent leaders during his campaign trail.
PM Modi is scheduled to address a public meeting in Saharanpur at 11:30 a.m., followed by a special flight to Ajmer district where he will speak at the Pushkar Mela Ground in support of the BJP candidate from the Ajmer Lok Sabha seat. After the Ajmer event, he will return to Uttar Pradesh to hold a roadshow in Ghaziabad at 5:15 p.m.
In other significant political events across the country today, Congress will organize “mega rallies” in Jaipur and Hyderabad. The Jaipur rally will focus on the party’s manifesto, where key leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address the crowd. In Hyderabad, Rahul Gandhi will highlight Congress’ election promises to a large gathering.
On the occasion of BJP’s 45th foundation day, the party has planned special programmes at over 10 lakh booths across the country. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting in Nagina in support of a BJP candidate, and other leaders like BRS MLA Tellam Venkata Rao and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have their own campaign events scheduled for the day.
BSP will also kick off its Lok Sabha poll campaign in Uttar Pradesh under the guidance of BSP supremo Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand, with a rally in Nagina. Events like these are expected to intensify the election campaign atmosphere in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.
