PM Modi visits Beyt Dwarka temple in Gujarat ahead of project launches

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Shri Beyt Dwarkadhish Mandir before inaugurating and attending groundbreaking ceremonies for various projects in Gujarat. The temple visit on a small island off the coast of Dwarka was a spiritual start to his trip, followed by the inauguration of the Sudarshan Setu, a significant infrastructure project.

The Sudarshan Setu, formerly known as the Signature Bridge, is a 2.32-kilometer marvel connecting Okha mainland to Beyt Dwarka island. Costing Rs 979 crore, the bridge features a four-lane road with footpaths on either side. PM Modi also unveiled projects worth Rs 48,000 crore in healthcare, infrastructure, energy, and transportation sectors.

During his visit, the Prime Minister inaugurated Gujarat’s first AIIMS in Rajkot and virtually inaugurated four more AIIMS across India. On Saturday, a roadshow in Jamnagar saw enthusiastic crowds greeting PM Modi with saffron flags and patriotic slogans, setting the tone for his visit to the state.

The trip to Dwarka and the subsequent inauguration of crucial projects highlight the government’s focus on infrastructure and healthcare development in Gujarat. PM Modi’s visit symbolizes the commitment to enhancing connectivity and healthcare facilities in the region, catering to the needs of the people and fostering overall growth and progress.
