PM Modi’s campaign rally in Churu, Rajasthan

Jaipur, April 5 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Rajasthan for the second time in four days. He will address a public meeting in Churu, where the BJP has fielded Paralympian Devendra Jhajharia, who is making his electoral debut after winning two Paralympic Gold medals.

PM Modi’s visit comes after launching the BJP-led NDA’s campaign in Kotputli on April 2. The BJP leaders believe that his visit will change the situation in Churu and turn a tough seat into a safe one.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Churu at around 11.30 a.m. to address a large gathering. He had previously given the slogan ‘Desh Nahi Jhukne Doonga’ during the last election from Churu.

Churu is set to witness a tough contest as the BJP fielded Devendra Jhajharia after cancelling sitting MP Rahul Kaswan’s ticket. Kaswan, who later joined the Congress, accused former opposition leader Rajendra Rathore of influencing the ticket decision.

PM Modi will continue his campaign in Pushkar on Saturday, where he will support BJP candidates from Ajmer and Nagaur. The upcoming elections in Rajasthan are expected to be closely contested with several key players vying for victory.

With this visit, PM Modi aims to galvanize support for the BJP candidates in Rajasthan and boost the party’s prospects in the upcoming elections.
