Further, the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) produced their cleanliness suggestions to major hotel groups across the country. Guidelines encompass certification or at least reassurance that their premises are safe from COVID-19 contamination. Stringent cleaning requirements are in place, together with disciplined reinforcement of safety requirements to assure guests of a safe stay.

Tourist guidelines for travel

While all possible measures are being taken by reputable service providers in the travel and tourism industry, tourists are required to take responsibility for their wellbeing, while remaining cognizant and respectful of employees in the industry.
