Preity reminisces about how SRK ‘brightened’ her day when she was feeling like a ‘zombie’

Actress Preity Zinta reminisced about her 2004 film ‘Veer-Zaara’ with Shah Rukh Khan and how he helped brighten her day during rehearsals. In a Twitter post, she shared a video of their dance rehearsals for an award show, with the song ‘Tere liye’ playing in the background.

During the rehearsals, Preity recalled feeling like a zombie due to lack of sleep, but Shah Rukh Khan’s charm and jokes lifted her spirits. She also pointed out a dance step taken from the song ‘Jiya Jale’ from the film ‘Dil Se…’

The flip dance step, as mentioned by Preity, was borrowed from ‘Jiya Jale’, adding a nostalgic touch to their rehearsals. ‘Veer Zaara’, directed by Yash Chopra, tells the story of an Indian pilot who falls in love with a Pakistani girl, portrayed by Preity Zinta. The film also stars Rani Mukerji.
