Premier League: Hojlund scores a brace as Man Utd beat Luton Town

Manchester United secured a 2-1 win against Luton Town, with Rasmus Hojlund making history by scoring a brace in the opening seven minutes. The victory has brought Manchester United within three points of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, as per Premier League website.

Hojlund’s quickfire goals in the first seven minutes allowed him to become the youngest player in Premier League history to score in six consecutive matches. The first goal came after just 37 seconds when he capitalized on a defensive error, followed by another goal from a Shaw corner which he chested home.

Despite Luton scoring a goal and pushing for an equalizer, United managed to hold on to their lead. Luton’s Morris scored the third goal of the match, becoming the first Luton player to score in three successive Premier League matches.

Both teams encountered yellow cards and substitutions during the match, with Luton continuing to attack and United missing a few big chances. Hojlund was also denied a hat-trick. The win takes United to 44 points, while Luton remains in 17th place, a point above Everton.

The exciting match showcased United’s resilience and Luton’s determination, setting the stage for an intriguing Premier League season ahead.
