President Droupadi Murmu sends best wishes to all on Vaisakhi

New Delhi, April 12 (IANS): President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings to people on the eve of Vaisakhi, Vishu, Bishub, Bahag Bihu, Poila Boishakh, Vaishakhadi, and Puthandu. President Murmu highlighted the significance of these festivals in promoting unity, harmony, and brotherhood, as well as honoring the hard work of farmers.

In her message, President Murmu expressed warm greetings and good wishes to all Indians living in India and abroad, acknowledging the vibrant cultural expressions of these festivals celebrated in various parts of the country. She emphasized how these celebrations symbolize social harmony and bring new energy and enthusiasm into people’s lives.

President Murmu stressed the importance of honoring the contributions of farmers, referring to them as ‘Annadata’. She expressed hope that these festivals bring prosperity and peace into everyone’s life. As symbols of unity and brotherhood, these festivals play a significant role in promoting social cohesion and cultural diversity within the country.
