Production house fires ‘Yeh Rishta…’ actors Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe

In a recent development, Rajan Shahi’s Directors Kut Production has decided to terminate ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actors Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe due to their unprofessional behavior. The production house, known for its successful shows like “Anupamaa” and “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” took this step after some troubling incidents involving the two actors.

According to reports, Shehzada Dhami, who plays Armaan, was consistently displaying unprofessional conduct on set, which included throwing tantrums and mistreating the crew. Despite efforts to address his behavior, the disruptions caused by him were affecting the overall work environment maintained by the production house. On the other hand, Pratiksha Honmukhe, who portrayed Roohi, failed to meet the character requirements despite being groomed by the production house.

As a result of these actions, Directors Kut Production decided to terminate both the actors. The production house will soon announce replacements for the characters of Armaan and Roohi in the show.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ first premiered in January 2009 and has been one of the longest-running TV shows. Over the years, the show has seen various actors in lead roles, including Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi, and Mohsin Khan. The current fourth-generation lead is portrayed by Samridhii Shukla.

This decision by Directors Kut Production sends a clear message about the importance of maintaining professionalism on set and upholding work ethics in the entertainment industry. The termination of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe serves as a reminder that unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated in the pursuit of creating quality television content.
