Rachel Leviss Files Lawsuit Against Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, Alleges Revenge Porn Was Secretly Recorded

Reality TV star Rachel Leviss has filed a lawsuit against her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, in which she has accused Sandoval of filming a sexually explicit video of her without her consent. She has also accused Sandoval and Madix of revenge porn, eavesdropping, invasion of privacy, and causing grievous mental distress.

Rachel Leviss is reported to have been involved in a secret relationship with Sandoval from 2022 to 2023. Sandoval was publicly dating Madix. In her lawsuit filed in the L.A. County Superior Court, Leviss charged both her co-stars with intentionally damaging her career and also making her one of the most hated women in America after the news of their affair was made public.

The lawsuit further alleged that the drama, which is now nicknamed ‘Scandoval,’ led to massive repercussions in Leviss’s life, starting with her ouster from the Bravo show and it also forced her to take a month-long treatment program for her mental health.

In the lawsuit, Rachel Leviss acknowledges that the affair was not appropriate morally and hurt deeply. However, she also added that she was a victim of the predatory and dishonest behavior of an older man who recorded explicit videos of her without her consent. The videos were later circulated by a scorned woman seeking vengeance.”

Even though Bravo, NBCUniversal, nor producer Andy Cohen were named in the complaint, it did mention that Rachel Leviss was made a scapegoat for commercial interests since she was never allowed to tell her side of the whole affair. It also alleged that Bravo and Evolution Media, the production company behind ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ had made her believe that she could not talk about her mistreatment and is bound by a contract.

Leviss’s attorney, entertainment lawyer Bryan Freedman, said in a statement to Forbes that

“NBC and Bravo have used illegal NDAs as cudgels to profit off their employees. The idea that human beings are expected to sacrifice their mental and emotional health in service of Bravo’s ratings is obscene.”

In the lawsuit, Rachel Leviss is demanding a jury trial in the civil case and has also asked for an unspecified amount as damages. Rachel Leviss has also asked the court to destroy all physical and electronic copies of the sex tape and for a restraining order that no one should see the tape in the future.
