Rahul Gandhi visits Rajasthan for polls, makes promises and vanishes afterwards

Jaipur, April 12 (IANS) Rajasthan unit BJP president CP Joshi criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making promises during election time and then being ‘missing’ for the next five years. Joshi made these remarks while referring to Gandhi’s speeches in Anupgarh and Phalodi on Thursday.

During the rallies, Gandhi promised to address key issues like job creation, especially for women, if his party comes to power. In response, Joshi stated, “no one falls in Congress’ trap these days” and expressed confidence in winning all 25 seats in Rajasthan in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Joshi further slammed the Congress, stating that the party only talks big during elections and fails to deliver. He questioned Gandhi’s failure to fulfill promises like providing unemployment allowance to youth and addressing paper leak cases during their rule in Rajasthan.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi-led government, Joshi mentioned that 25 crore people were lifted out of poverty line. He criticized Congress for their outdated slogans like “Garibi Hatao” and accused them of promoting nepotism, corruption, and disrespecting religious sentiments.

As election season heats up, Joshi warned voters to not be swayed by false promises and rhetoric and urged them to make informed choices for the progress and development of the nation.
