In the last 10 days, the prices of LPG Gas Cylinder have been seen in the country twice. So far in this month, February, LPG has become expensive by Rs 75. On Sunday night, the price of LPG gas cylinder had jumped by Rs 50. Earlier, domestic gas was costlier by Rs 25 on February 4. The Congress has attacked the Modi government over the increase in domestic gas prices. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted and wrote, ‘Loot from public, development of only two’.

Gas cylinder prices will increase from today

The inflation since the Corona epidemic is not taking the name of stopping. After the increase in the price of diesel-petrol on Sunday, domestic LPG gas cylinder will now be costlier by Rs 50 in Delhi. After the introduction of the new rate, now the price of 14.2 kg cylinder will increase to Rs 769 per cylinder.

This is the price of petrol

It is known that on Sunday, prices of petrol and diesel have increased once again in Delhi. Petrol price is increased by Rs 0.29 to Rs 88.73 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel has increased by Rs 0.32 to Rs 79.06 per liter.

Diesel-petrol prices also increased drastically

Let me tell you that even though the government is citing the inflation of crude oil in the international market, the reality is that we are paying more than Rs 88 for petrol of Rs 29.34 a liter. Talking about diesel, its base price in Delhi was only Rs 30.55 on February 1, while on this day it was selling at Rs 76.48 a liter.

That’s why prices are increasing

In fact, in India where the central government on diesel and petrol charges more than Rs 32 per liter as excise duty, the state governments are filling their treasury out of people’s pockets by levying VAT and cess. Apart from this, freight and dealer’s commission are also added on both the oils, which are charged from the general public. If we talk about the tax levied on petrol and diesel by the state governments, in Rajasthan, VAT on petrol is 36% and on diesel 26%. Here first VAT was charged.

Transporters warned to go on strike

On the other hand, plagued transporters warned of a strike to protest against rising oil prices and higher taxes. The All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC), the apex organization of transporters, said that diesel prices are continuously rising. Apart from this, high rates of tax, many things related to e-way bill and the current policy of junk vehicles etc. were discussed in the Governing Council of AIMTC. AIMTC claims to represent around 95 lakh truck drivers and about 50 lakh buses and tourist operators.
