Rajinikanth Dadasaheb Phalke Award: Dadasaheb Phalke Award for actor Rajinikanth

South Superstar Rajinikanth will be given the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The five-member jury has unanimously stamped Rajinikanth’s name. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar gave this information by tweeting over twitter.

He said, ‘I am very happy that Rajinikanth has received the 2021 Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Jury of 5 members Asha Bhosle, Subhash Ghai, Mohanlal, Shankar Mahadevan, Biswajit Chatterjee have unanimously recommended it.

Significantly, the award was started by the Government of India in 1969 in the name of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, and is called the highest award of Indian cinema. The last Phalke Award was given to actor Dhanush K Raja.
