Rajinikanth got ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Award’, started his film journey with the remake of Amitabh’s films

Superstar of South films and popularly known as ‘Thalaivar’, Rajinikanth is known for his strong acting. The actor has won many awards for his brilliant acting and now the name of “Dada Saheb Phalke Award” has also been added to his list of awards. Yes, Rajinikanth has been honoured with the Dada Saheb Phalke Award. The actor was given this award in Delhi today.

Earlier in the past, actor Rajinikanth had tweeted in the joy of receiving the Dada Saheb Phalke Award. He wrote in the tweet, ‘Tomorrow is a momentous occasion as he will receive the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the highest honor of cinema, from the Government of India. It would have been difficult without your love and support.

Rajinikanth’s tweet further wrote, ‘On the other hand my daughter Soundarya Vishgan has taken the initiative to make a very useful app for people called ‘Hoot’ with her independent efforts and she is going to present it to the world from India. People can now express their thoughts through their voice, just like wishes and thoughts they do in writing in any language of their choice. I am very happy to launch this innovative, useful and first of its kind ‘Hoot App in Meri Awaaz.
