China’s Xiaomi launched its new product, Redmi 12 in selected countries this Friday. Redmi 12 Is the latest product offered by Xiaomi. This new phone comes in three color variants and three storage configurations as well. Redmi 12 offers a triple rear camera with a primary sensor of 50 megapixels. It is powered by a MediaTek G88 SoC. It flaunts a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a hole-punch display. This new smartphone is backed by 18W fast charging support with a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi 12 Price
The price of Redmi 12 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model starts at roughly Rs. 17,000 or EUR 199 in Europe. On Thailand’s Shopee Website, this phone with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration is available at THB 5,299 or Rs. 12,500. The current price of the 8GB RAM +256GB storage variant is not yet made public. Various color options available for this smartphone are Sky Blue shades, Polar Silver and Midnight Black. The information about the availability of this smartphone in other markets such as India is not announced yet.

Redmi 12 Specifications
The new smartphone Redmi 12 directly runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13. It supports dual SIM (Nano+microSD slot) and flaunts a display of 1500:1 contrast ratio and 6.79-full-HD+ (1,080X2,460 pixels). This Smartphone can deliver up to 550 nits of peak brightness and 70 percent coverage of the NTSC color gamut. The RAM of this smartphone can be extended up to 16 GB with the help of additional inbuilt storage. Redmi 12 is powered by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with MediaTek Helio G88 SoC.
On the optics front, this newly launched smartphone offers a triple rear camera setup that is AI-supported. It comprised a primary sensor of 50 megapixels. A macro sensor of 2-megapixel along with an ultra-wide camera of 8-megapixel accompanies the primary sensor.
The smartphone also offers a front camera of 8 megapixels. This smartphone comes with 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage. With the help of a microSD card, the storage is expandable up to 1TB. Various connectivity options available are a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, USB type-C port, IR blaster, FM radio, NFC, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and 4G.
