The influential figure for LIV Golf and the chairman of PIF, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, has recently been charged with a lawsuit valued at $74 million. The lawsuit is based on reports of kidnapping. According to the reports, Yasir Al-Rumayyan carried out instructions given to him by the Saudi Crown Prince.
The instructions involve kidnapping with “malicious intent.” The Saudi Crown Prince instructed him to silence the family of Saudi Arabia’s ex-intelligence person. Al-Rumayyan is not only the chairman of Newcastle United, the Premier League team, but also the leader of PIF. His involvement in the PGA Tour merger is also heavily anticipated. According to the reports, the claims regarding the kidnapping were mentioned in the legal papers and were sent to Al-Rumayyan. The kidnapping claims were sent this week at various high-profile locations, including the home stadium of Newcastle United, St. James’ Park.
