Cancer is perhaps one of the most deadly diseases we have around. The recovery from it is always based on luck and the ability of one’s body to take in the stressful treatment. Battling cancer is difficult but one must not lose hope.
This news is not about someone just passing away from cancer, it’s rather something more heartbreaking than this. On July 22, 2023, Riley Faith Steep, a 7-year-old Simpsonville resident, unfortunately passed away. People on social media have been extremely grieved by the news of her passing.

Riley Faith Steep: Cause of Death, Obituary, and Funeral
She bravely fought stage 4 adrenal cortical cancer after being diagnosed with it in September 2020, despite being born on May 6th, 2016. Her family is grieved by her passing. Being a little girl like Riley it is obviously very difficult and strenuous to keep up with the heavy toxic cancer treatment.
But she did not give up and kept fighting for two years straight. Any family must experience the incredibly awful scenario of losing a child. Their daughter Riley Faith bravely fought cancer starting at an early age.
Riley’s Foundation To Help Other Cancer Kids
She started Riley’s Cosy Comfy Mission, a warm-hearted initiative where she gathered contributions of sheets, coloring books, and stuffed animals to soothe kids staying at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital.
Just like any other kid she loved to socialize, color, and play with her family, she has always been a very enthusiastic and chirpy kid. Riley, even at such a young age, understood the value of feeling safe and at home through difficult times away from home.
Everyone who was touched by Riley Faith’s generosity and energy has been shocked by her sudden death. At this point, all we can hope, wish and pray for is that Riley might just be in a much better place than she was before. We hope she’s happy, healthy, and smiling her way through.
