Robert De Niro, the Hollywood legend, had a face-off on Tuesday with the former POTUS, Donald Trump’s supporters.
Robert De Niro called Donald Trump a “clown” whose purpose is to “destroy the world.”
According to CNN, this incident occurred outside Trump’s hush money trial in New York.
It took place when Capitol Police officers Michael Fanone and Harry Dunn were accompanying the special guest, De Niro, to Joe Biden’s campaign.
De Niro, while addressing the news conference, said,
“I love this city. I don’t want to destroy it. Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country and, eventually, he could destroy the world”.
However, the Trump supporters present in the crowd couldn’t take it, and statements like “your movies suck!,” and “f*** Joe Biden” could be heard.
De Niro Calls Trump A Clown
The actor did not stop.
He further said,
“We New Yorkers used to tolerate him when he was just another grubby real estate hustler masquerading as a big shot. A two-bit playboy lying his way into the tabloids. A clown.”
Meanwhile, Jason Miller, the spokesperson for Donald Trump, slammed Joe Biden’s campaign and told the reporters that, “The best they can do is roll out a washed up actor.”
As the situation escalated, one of Trump’s supporters shouted, “You’re washed up”. To which the Hollywood legend retorted, saying, “You are gangsters. F*** you.”
De Niro added that on January 6, 2021, when Donald Trump got an angry mob to assault the US capitol is the motivational factor for the former to carry on with the voiceover in the new advertisement for the Biden-Harris poll campaign.
The Hollywood legend also exclaimed that Donald Trump could also make use of the US Military to take action against the actor.
Niro added,
“That’s the tyrant he’s telling us he’ll be.”
Niro added that US senate elections would create history if Donald Trump wins another term in Parliament.
The actor added,
“I can tell you right now. He will never leave. He will never leave. You know that. He will never leave”.
De Niro pushed the mob for Joe Biden’s re-election.
He substantiated his words by saying that the only way left to preserve the freedom of the States is by voting for Joe Biden as President. Thus, in that way, people can hold onto humanity as well.
De Niro again warned in his concluding statement by saying, ‘Really! We don’t have a choice”.
