Russia's military death toll in Ukraine rises to 409,820

Kiev, Feb 25 (IANS) The Armed Forces of Ukraine have reported a significant number of Russian armed personnel eliminated in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to February 25, 2024. According to media reports, approximately 409,820 Russian armed personnel were eliminated during this period, with 810 Russian armed personnel being taken out on Saturday alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared this information on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform news agency. In addition to the personnel, Ukrainian forces have also destroyed a substantial amount of Russian military equipment, including tanks, armoured combat vehicles, artillery systems, aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles, among others. The data on Russian army losses is still being updated.

As per the Ukrinform news agency, there have been 84 combat engagements on the battlefield in Ukraine as of Sunday. The ongoing conflict continues to have a significant impact, with both sides facing casualties and losses in the midst of the fighting.
