S.Korea's Finance minister to leave for Brazil to attend G20 meeting

South Korean Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok is set to attend a G20 meeting in Brazil this week, as per the Finance Ministry. Choi will participate in the Finance Ministers’ meeting, along with talks with IMF Managing Director and other ministers.

Choi Sang-mok, South Korean Finance Minister, will depart for Brazil on Monday to attend the G20 Finance Ministers’ meeting. He will engage in discussions about global economic and financial issues, as reported by Yonhap news agency.

During the G20 meeting, Choi Sang-mok will also have separate talks with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Finance Ministers from other countries. The Ministry of Economy and Finance confirmed this upcoming trip for the Finance Minister.

The purpose of the trip is to discuss and address various global economic and financial issues, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in tackling economic challenges. This meeting is crucial in ensuring a coordinated response to the current economic climate.
