Sadhguru’s Health Condition Improved Post Brain Surgery in Apollo Hospital, Delhi
Sadhguru aka Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is the founder of the Isha Foundation. He is also a popular spiritual leader. Recent news states that Sadhguru has undergone an emergency brain surgery in Delhi at Apollo Hospital.
According to TimesNow, for the past four weeks, Sadhguru has been suffering from a critical headache. Despite his ill health, he carried out his daily schedule including conducting the Maha Shivaratri function on March 8, 2024.
By March 15, Sadhguru’s headache exacerbated. Thus, around 3:45 pm the same day, he consulted the Senior Consultant Neurologist of the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Delhi, Dr Vinit Suri over the phone.
Dr. Suri advised an urgent MRI as he suspected a subdural hematoma immediately.
The same day at 4:30 pm, Sadhguru had an MRI brain scan at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals. The scan reports unveiled a huge bleeding in the skull.
Sadhguru Had Internal Bleeding For Weeks
The reports were evidence that Sadhguru had a 24-48 hrs duration of fresh bleeding along with 3-4 weeks of chronic bleeding. Thus, the spiritual leader was hospitalized immediately for appropriate medication.
Sadhguru had important meetings lined up on March 15 and 16. Thus, he stated, “I have never missed a single meeting in my last 40 years.” Thus, he attended the meetings with medication on above mentioned dates despite agonizing and severe symptoms.
On March 17, the level of consciousness of the founder of Isha Foundation declined. Moreover, he felt weakness in his left leg. Immediately he was admitted under Dr Vinit Suri’s care at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals.
A CT scan was done which showed an upsurged brain swelling. Thus, a decision to operate was taken.
On March 17, as per Dr Vinit Suri, Sadhguru stated, “Now is the time for you to perform the procedure.”
A group of doctors comprising Dr. S Chatterjee, Dr. Sudheer Tyagi, Dr. Pranav Kumar, and Dr Vinit Suri underwent emergency brain surgery on March 17, reported OPIndia.
Post-surgery, ‘Sadhguru was weaned off the ventilator.’ The Spiritual Leader has also shown steady progress. The condition of his brain and other vital body parts has also improved.
