SAI Shakti and Odisha Naval Tata Centre Triumph in Sub-junior Women’s Hockey on Day 7

Lucknow, April 3 (IANS) SAI Shakti Team and Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre emerged victorious in their matches on Day 7 of the 2nd Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League – Finals at the Padma Shri Mohammad Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium.

In the first match, SAI Shakti Team dominated Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta, with a convincing 9-0 win. Purnima Yadav and Khushi both scored hat-tricks, while Bhavya added two goals, and captain Tanuja scored the opening goal.

In the second match, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High-Performance Centre outplayed Khelo India State Excellence Centre, Bilaspur, with a 7-1 victory. Sweety Kujur led the scoring with a hat-trick, supported by goals from Neharika Toppo, Amisha Ekka, Doli Bhoi, and Anushka Bhawre. Rukhamani Khus scored the lone goal for Khelo India State Excellence Centre.
