Salman Khan Partners with Art Company to Make Paintings Accessible
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has teamed up with an art company to offer his paintings to fans and art enthusiasts. This partnership will make his diptych ‘Unity 1’ and ‘Unity 2’ accessible to the public, reflecting the diversity, love, and respect of Indian society.
Salman’s painting ‘Unity 2’ is acrylic on canvas, sized at 152.5 x 76 cm. The art company, Artfi, will fractionalise these artworks into 10,000 fractions, allowing a wider audience to own a share of the paintings through fractionalised ownership.
In a statement, Salman expressed his excitement about the initiative, stating, “I’m delighted to be associated with Artfi on this initiative to make my paintings accessible, and I’m pleased to see that through this my art will be shared with people around the world.” This move aims to engage fans globally and share his artistic vision.
The partnership leverages blockchain technology and the popularity of Salman Khan’s artistry to promote broader access to fine art. Artfi has also consigned artworks worth $25 million from renowned artists like V. S. Gaitonde, Ram Kumar, and Sacha Jafri, further expanding the art company’s portfolio and reach in the industry.
This collaboration marks an innovative approach towards making art more inclusive and accessible, bridging the gap between celebrities and art lovers. Salman Khan’s venture into the art world through this partnership is set to create ripples in the artistic community and provide a unique opportunity for fans to connect with his creative expression on a deeper level.
