Samsung Harman seizes 54 counterfeit JBL products from various shops in Delhi

Samsung Electronics’s subsidiary Harman recently conducted a raid in Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi, seizing fake JBL products from car accessories shops. The team confiscated 54 counterfeit JBL car speakers from 5 locations. Harman is taking legal actions against offenders and advising consumers to be vigilant.

Vikram Kher, Vice President, Lifestyle, Harman India, stated, “We are pursuing legal actions against individuals engaged in the sale of these counterfeit products. It is crucial for our consumers to buy products from authorized retailers.” Harman is committed to continuing investigations to suppress the sale of such products across India.

The company has initiated criminal action against offenders and plans to continue investigations to prevent the manufacturing and selling of counterfeit products nationwide. Consumers are advised to inspect packaging and logo placement/color to identify fake JBL products. Signs of counterfeit products include flimsy packaging, missing certifications, and mismatches in logo placement and color.

Harman also mentioned that counterfeit products may be lightweight, smell of chemicals, or have chipped paint. It is essential for consumers to be cautious and purchase products from authorized retailers to avoid being misled by fake products. The company is dedicated to protecting its brand and ensuring that consumers receive genuine products.
