EXPOSED: Sanchayita Bhattacharjee aka Ruth Lenin, the Woman Who Faked Cancer and Death for Money

Sanchayita Bhattacharjee, popularly referred to as Sanchayita Ruth Lenin, is currently attracting nationwide attention. She is a vegan activist and Adivasi from the state of Assam. On the internet, Sanchayita claimed to have Stage-4 Cancer, seeking financial support from netizens by making a gig on a fundraising site Ever Loved. However, it turns out her entire narrative is fake and was strategically concocted to obtain money from donors.

The revelation came to light when her actual close friends, decided to delve deep into her cancer treatment claim. They scanned the QR code given to them on a lab report.

Surprisingly, it showed that the code belongs to a dengue report, which has no relevance to cancer treatment. Additionally, she changed her name to Sanchayita Ruth Lenin and her age in the report. According to news reports, she used a fake dengue test report template to forge her results.

Sanchayita Bhattacharjee gets exposed on social media 

Sanchayita Bhattacharjee presented two reports from Gauhati Medical College. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the reports were fake and had no medical record at the hospital. Moreover, she faked her death while being completely alive and well. She claimed to have been born on February 22, 1996, and died on January 9, 2024, at the age of 27.

One of her friends took to social media to expose her web of lies and reveal her to the world. Since then, the story has gone viral, garnering wide attention. As of now, no official statement has been released from her side, sparking a debate on demanding strict action against her.

According to some netizens, this story clearly shows how people can go to great lengths to gain fame and money without any hard work.
