Seerat Kapoor on learning Urdu for 'Rabb Se Hai Dua': It wasn't a cakewalk

Actress Seerat Kapoor, who plays Mannat in the show ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’, recently shared the challenges she faced in adapting to the mannerism and tone of the Urdu language. The show, which has been making headlines with its unique narrative, is set to take a leap of 22 years with new characters and a focus on the journey of Dua’s daughters. The show will also feature television heartthrob Dheeraj Dhoopar in a prominent role.

In an exclusive interview, Seerat Kapoor opened up about the preparations she underwent for her role in ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’. She emphasized the importance of portraying the character in a natural and authentic manner, and the efforts she put into mastering the Urdu language. “It wasn’t a cakewalk, but it was so much fun. The difficulty makes it interesting, you get to learn so many new things,” she shared.

Seerat also shared insights into her character, Mannat, describing her as a strong and confident girl with clear goals and aspirations. She added that Mannat is multi-layered and has many shades, fighting for the rights of others as well as for herself. The actress also revealed that she relates to her character a lot, but is making an effort not to take her character home.

The show will feature new characters and a focus on the journey of Dua’s daughters, emphasizing their opposition to the misuse of the law that allows polygamy. Raymon Kakar will replace Aditi Sharma as the older Dua, playing a strong matriarch who has taken over the family business. Yesha Rughani will be seen playing the role of Ibaadat, and Dheeraj Dhoopar, the role of Subhaan.
