Shannon Sharpe has issued a clarification that the inappropriate video which was uploaded live on Instagram was him and he was having s*x when his Instagram account went live on Wednesday.
Earlier Shannon had put up a statement that his Instagram account had been hacked.

However, the post was deleted and gave his version of the story on his podcast Nightcap with co-host Chad Johnson.
Shannon Sharpe also stated that he was disappointed with himself and clarified that the intimate video live on Instagram wasn’t a Hack.
Shannon‘s clarification has created a massive uproar on social media.
Shannon’s Instagram account went live and the audio was heard by millions all over the world.
Shannon clarified that one of his staffer named Jordan had posted the story that his account was hacked.
Shanon said that he deleted that post before admitting his mistake during the mishap.
Sharpe said,
“I’m disappointed in myself. I let a lot of people down. This was not staged. I came in, I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity. I did not know about IG Live. I’ve never been on IG Live. I’ve never turned IG Live on, so I don’t know how it works,”
A visibly embarrassed Sharpe added,
“I’m embarrassed. Someone that is extremely, extremely private. And to have one of your most intimate details, the audio heard for the entire world to hear,”
His co-host Johnson tried to pep him up and reminded him about the NFL legend’s past performance.
In another twist to the Shannon controversy, ESPN analyst Michelle Beadle clarified that she was not the woman in the NSFW Instagram live.
In Shannon Sharpe’s NSFW Instagram live which was streamed live accidently the faces were not visible, a man and a woman were heard moaning on the video and the names ‘Shannon and Michelle’ could be heard.
This prompted many to speculate on the identity of the woman.
However former ESPN analyst Michelle Beadle came clear on the issue and said that she is not the mysterious woman in question.
The YouTube podcast in which Shannon made the clarifications featured the two NFL heroes and opened with an advertisement for Ro, a men’s sexual health wellness company.
This started a meme festival on social media with fans poking fun at the whole incident.
The podcast also had its own hilarious moments when Sharpe admitted that he will keep his phone in the car when he next engages in the act.
