Along with the stock market, the commodity market will also remain closed today. However, trading will start in the commodity market after 5 pm. Multi Commodity Exchange and National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange will remain closed till 5 pm today. The business will start here after 5 pm and deals can be taken in the contract in the evening. The business will be held here till 11.30 pm.

At the close of trading on July 20, the Sensex was down by 354.89 points at 52,198.51 and the Nifty was down 120.30 points at 15,632.10. Only 9 stocks on Sensex and 10 stocks on Nifty50 closed with gains. Talking about the sectoral indices of Nifty, except Nifty FMCG, all other sector indices closed with a fall. All banking stocks, including Reliance and Tata Steel, were sold on the Sensex and Asian Paint shares gained 6 percent.
