Mullanpur, April 10 (IANS): Punjab Kings all-rounder Shashank Singh praised Ashutosh Sharma for his power-hitting in a close 2-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad. Chasing 183, the duo showcased their on-field camaraderie, scripting an unbeaten partnership of 66 off 27 balls. Despite Shashank’s last-ball six, SRH emerged victorious.

Shashank credited Ashutosh for his brilliant innings and expressed disappointment over the narrow loss. The duo’s partnership was the highlight of the game, with Ashutosh scoring 33 off 15 balls and Shashank finishing on 46 not out in 25 balls.
