The world is mourning the loss of Emirati politician, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He was a member of the Al Nahyan family of Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi’s Ruler’s Representative. He took his last breath on 27th July 2023 after battling health issues for a long time.

He was the son of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the U.A.E. A three-day mourning period has been declared by his brother Sheikh Mohamed. It commenced on 27th July and will end on 29th July. During this time, the U.A.E flag will be at half-mast.
