Methodology To Play Shillong Lottery
STEP – 1 Buy a ticket for Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, or Rs 50 from any authorized lottery vendor

Shillong Teer is a lottery game but it is different from other games of luck since it is based upon archery. The Shillong Teer is a game of luck and the Meghalaya Lottery Department has started to popularize the game of archery as well as link it with lotteries and provide an entertaining means to make some money.
The Shillong Teer is linked to archery which is a very popular form of game in the North Eastern part of the country. The communities which reside in the North East are a martial race and martial games like wrestling, archery, and fencing are an integral part of their culture. Keeping this in mind, the Meghalaya Government capitalized on the popularity of archery and thus earned some revenue and used it for socially productive endeavors.
The Shilong Teer Games are organized daily from Monday to Saturday. The event is organized by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association and the actual event takes place at Shillong’s Polo Stadium. The actual event takes place in two phases. 50 expert archers stand in a line before a target and in the first round the archers shoot thirty arrows and in the second phase shoot twenty arrows. The participants are required to place bets on the number of arrows that hit the target.
Shillong Teer tickets are freely available and can be obtained from over 5000 lottery ticket centers spread across the state. The tickets range from Rs 1 to Rs 100. The results are available on the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) website as well as other websites and applications such as meghalayateer.com.
How Much You Can Win?
Betting INR 1 in the first round will get you INR 80. Betting INR 1 in the second round will earn you INR 60. If you bet INR 1 in both rounds and guess the number of arrows correctly, you will earn INR 4000. The results of the draw are declared between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. daily except Sunday when the event is not held.
