Participants of the Shillong Teer for today 18 November 2023 can get the latest news and the results here. The Shillong Teer is a lottery with a difference since it is linked to an archery game. The archery event is organized by The Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association and is held in two phases.  

Lottery events are banned in most parts of India. However some states like in the North East and Kerala organize lottery draws under strict government supervision. The lotteries, unlike the dubious Satta or Matka which are organized by criminals, are legal and held under the provisions of the Meghalaya Lottery and Amusement Amendment Act.

For buying the tickets offline one can visit any of the 5000 Lottery Ticket Kiosks and obtain the ticket. The results are usually declared by 05.00 p.m. for both the rounds. The sale of the tickets stop at 03.30 p.m. and the actual archery event is held after the close of the ticket sale.
