The Shillong Teer is conducted by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association with the full blessing of Meghalaya Government. The Shillong Teer is only one of the numerous Teer events which are conducted by the Meghalaya Government and it includes Juwai Teer, Juwai Morning Teer, Shillong Morning Teer, Khanapara Teer, Jowai Ladrymbai, Shillong Night Teer and Juwai Night Teer.

Methodology To Play Shillong Lottery

Shillong Teer is held in two parts. In the first part a group of 50 archers shoot 30 arrows at a target. In the second part the archers shoot 20 arrows. The participants of the lottery event then bet on the numbers of arrows which will hit the target. The Tickets are priced Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, or Rs 50 and can be purchased from any of the 5000 authorized Lottery Ticket Kiosks across the state. The lottery holders have to bet on any number in between 0 to 99. If it is the same as the number of arrows which has hit the target the lottery owner is the winner and will receive a handsome reward.
