Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji is a great orator and spiritual guru who has gained immense popularity in the hearts of Devotees. Biography of Devkinandan Thakur ji:

Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji is a Hindu mythology narrator, singer and spiritual guru who was born on September 12th, 1978 in the village of Auhawa in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. At the age of only 6, he left home and reached Vrindavan where he used to attend the Rasleela Sansthan in Braj.

Since 1997, he has been giving discourses on various Hindu scriptures, including the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, the Shri Ram Katha, the Devi Bhagwat, and the Shiv Katha. In 2015, he was awarded the UP Ratan Award.

Thousands of people participate in his sankirtana. Shri Devkinandan is popularly known as Thakurji Maharaj.

Career (Time-line)

It is said that, he memorized the whole Shrimad Bhagvat Purana when he was just 13 years old. When he was 18 years old, he used to give the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran to the people in Shri Ram Mandir, Delhi. He so far has given spiritual speeches in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Holland.

Let us tell you, Devkinandan Ji had joined the Krishnalila troupe of Vrindavan before he even finished elementary school.

Yes, by playing the role of Shri Krishna, he started to feel inner peace. Apart from this, in Vrindavan, he received education about ancient scriptures from Shri Vrindavan Bhagwat Peethadheeshwar Shri Purushottam Sharan Shastri Ji Maharaj.

However, when Thakur ji studied ancient Indian texts deeply, he found that all the actions of God’s incarnations, saints, sages and great men give the message of doing good for society.

After that, Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji started giving messages against the evils in society through the stories of Shri Ram, and Thakur ji. He believes that the stories are more than just stories- they have relevance in today’s world and provide useful lessons.

He also founded the Sewa Charitable Trust for world peace which aims to maintenance happiness in the region both culturally and economically. Shri Brahman Mahasangh has honored Shri Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj with the rank of Acharyindra.

Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji’s Influence on Society

Let us tell you, Nimbarkacharya Jagatguru Maharaj, being influenced by Devkinandan Thakur Ji’s peaceful stories, conferred the title of “Shanti Doot” to him in the year 2007.

The point to be noted here is that in many major events, the number of listeners crosses the limit of forty thousand to one lakh. Apart from this, Maharaj ji’s social welfare ideas reach crores of people through TV channels.

Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji is also engaged in many social service campaigns. One of his social service campaigns is the cow protection campaign. Now it is known to all that how important is the cow in Hinduism as they are worshiped as a mother. Maharaj Shree started the campaign of cow protection to speak out against the killing of cows in our country.

Along with this, Maharaj Ji actively participates in many movements being done against Ganga Yamuna pollution and makes every listener coming to his programs agree to make efforts in this direction.

Maharaj Shree is also making a lot of efforts to end the dowry system. In each of his speeches, he swears to thousands of listeners that he will neither take nor give dowry. Apart from this, he inspires the wealthy class to organize marriage ceremonies in a simple way and dowry-free mass marriage ceremonies are also organized by Vishwa Shanti Seva Charitable Trust.

He is married to Andmata. Devkinandan Ji is blessed with a son, Devansh.
