Mumbai, March 30 (IANS) As April Fool’s Day approaches, actress Shubhangi Atre shared a hilarious prank she played on her daughter Ashi, which took an unexpected turn. The ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ star recounted a playful trick that turned into a memorable moment for the mother-daughter duo.
April 1 is known for bringing joy and laughter through pranks and jokes. Shubhangi, who plays the role of Angoori Bhabi in the popular sitcom, revealed how she decided to play a prank on her daughter who often misplaces her phone.
The actress slyly slipped Ashi’s phone into the jacket pocket hanging by the door while her daughter frantically searched for it. After two hours of fruitless searching, Shubhangi hinted at the possibility of the phone being in the exact spot where Ashi least expected.
Amidst the confusion, Ashi jokingly suggested buying a new phone, unaware that her mother was behind the entire prank. Shubhangi then revealed the phone from Ashi’s jacket pocket, leading to a moment of disbelief followed by laughter for both mother and daughter.
