Sidhu Moose Wala's parents expecting a baby in March

Mumbai, Feb 27 (IANS) The parents of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala are expecting their second child through In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). Charan Kaur, Moosewala’s mother, is currently pregnant and is expected to give birth in March. She has been under observation by the medical team with positive responses.
Charan Kaur, 58, and Balkaur Singh, 60, opted for IVF as confirmed by Moosewala’s uncle, Chamkaur Singh. Charan Kaur has refrained from leaving her house for the past few months due to her pregnancy. She had filed an affidavit in 2022 when she contested the elections at 56 years old.
Sidhu Moosewala was the couple’s only son and had unsuccessfully contested the elections from Mansa in 2022 on Congress ticket. Tragically, he was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa. The incident involved an ambush where around 30 rounds were fired, leading to his demise. Moosewala had retaliated by firing back using his gun.
Moosewala had left his house with his cousin and neighbor when the attack occurred. The police had reduced his security a day prior to the incident, leaving him with only two commandos instead of the previous four. The investigation is ongoing, however, only positive responses have been seen in Charan Kaur’s pregnancy under medical observation.
