Singapore envoy expresses solidarity with India, visits Bengaluru cafe

The Singapore High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, visited the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru weeks after a low-intensity IED blast. The cafe reopened with strict security measures after the March 1 blast. Ambassador Wong showed support by having breakfast at the cafe.

Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara mentioned that the agencies have almost tracked the suspected bomber in the Bengaluru cafe blast case. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) released pictures and videos of the suspect, who was seen wearing a mask, pink T-shirt, and trousers. A reward of Rs 10 lakh was declared for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The NIA had already arrested Mohammed Shabbir in connection with the blast. Shabbir is believed to be an accomplice of the prime suspect, who was captured on security camera footage leaving a bag at the cafe premises before the blast occurred. The authorities are making progress in their investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
