Sophie Turner Tattoos and Their Meanings

The famous GOT fame Sophie Turner has around 15 tattoos dedicated to her career, friends, and her husband. 

Turner has an inked a tally mark on the ring finger of her right hand. Recently she shared a photo of the tattoo on her Instagram and her friend Gracie Parker’s small triangle design. Sophie Turner didn’t give much explanation behind the tattoo but it looked like her family. Her parents, and her two brothers named Will Turner and James Turner.

Sophie Turner also got a new logo of the X-Men franchise on her rib cage. The tattoo was first spotted at Venice Film Festival in 2016. She made her debut in the X-Men series as the young version of Jean Grey in “X-Men: Apocalypse.”

Sophie became a household after she appeared in the megs hit TV series ‘Game of Thrones’. Sophie and her GOT costar Maisie Williams have tattooed the date they got signed for the role in their arms. The real-life best friends played the role of siblings as Sansa and Arya Stark on August 7, 2009, and got the date inked by artist Kat Paine in Belfast in 2016.

“We always said that we wanted them so we got the date 07.08.09 on our arms because that’s the date that both of us found out we’d got our roles in ‘Game Of Thrones,'” Turner told Elle UK in 2017. “So when we had a day off from filming in Belfast we just went to a tattoo place and got it done.” Turner publicly showed off the ink during her appearance at the Emmys in 2016 and called Williams “one of my best friends in the whole world.”

As being married to one of the Jonas Brothers, she got a “J” tattoo on her left wrist dedicated to the love of her life, Joe Jonas.

Sophie Turner has one tattoo of a rabbit on her right arm in 2018. During an interview with Rolling stones, she said- it  “has no significance whatsoever. A lot of people say it looks like bunnies f—ing each other,” she added.
