American rapper Soulja Boy and comedian B Simone are currently beefing about something on Instagram, and it has gotten pretty serious.
On January 26, 2024, Soulja went live on Instagram to talk about Simone’s comments regarding her music preference.
Soulja Boy Responds To B Simone
Earlier this week, Simone released her episode of the podcast ‘Let’s Try This Again.’
B Simone talked about a magazine cover and mentioned that she wanted to play gospel music while doing so.
When Simone played gospel music, nobody asked her to tune it to Soulja’s music.
Simone said,
“Nobody said, ‘Why are we listening to this? Man, put on Soulja Boy.’ I don’t think anybody’s ever said ‘put on Soulja Boy’… I don’t know why I said that.”
Soulja took this remark too seriously and started commenting on Simone.
So, Soulja tuned in on Instagram Live and started commenting on Simone’s looks, saying that she was ugly and he had more hair than her.
Soulja also said that nobody wants to listen to Simone either.
Soulja claimed that Simone tried to get too close to him on the set when they were working together on the song ‘Wild ‘n Out.’
Soulja also mentioned that nobody knows Simone.
Soulja’s rant mentioned,
“We ain’t never said turn on Soulja Boy. We ain’t never said turn on B Simone, who the f**k is you? That’s f**ked up. If a n*ga don’t want to f**k you, a n**ga don’t want to fk you… So I’ve got to f**k you for you to get on the internet and say something good about me? If you ain’t got something nice to say don’t say nothing at all.”
When this whole thing got out on the internet, things became way too topsy-turvy all around, simone went on “The Shade Room” and commented that she was not trying to insult Soulja, but was wanted to make sure that people show him more respect and listen to his songs more because he is a trendsetter.
Simone also mentioned that she thinks Soulja is a hip-hop legend.
“This is nuts I literally said, “We have to put some respect on Soulja Boy name. He is a trendsetter & an innovator in the culture. So I respect Soulja Boy. God bless you @souljaboy Hope you good. But LTTA. TAP IN. Love yall.”
she said.
Responding to this later Soulja mentioned that he said all that because Simone hurt his feelings. Internet feuds and beefing are quite common these days.
“you hurt my feelings [crying face emoji].” he said.
Considering Soulja went on a rant and roasted Simone’s physical appearance over a comment she made about his song, he could have just turned this match into a huge fire, but the situation seems to have died quickly.
