A renowned Brazilian motorcycle influencer, Nanda Fernanda, also known as ‘Fernanda 4Ever’, recently shared a video detailing a horrifying incident where she was raped while traveling in Dumka, Jharkhand.
The video has sparked widespread outrage, with the public demanding severe action against the perpetrators of this despicable crime.
Fernanda, who is a 28-year-old adventurer, undertook on a journey to India with her Spanish husband, Vicente, after exploring 63 countries.
Their visit to India followed safe travels through countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
However, the incident in India has caused significant distress among online communities, casting a shadow over the country due to the heinous nature of the crime.

Ever since the news of her assault broke in the media, Fernanda’s Instagram is filled with comments of sympathy.

The assault occurred under the jurisdiction of the Hansdiha police station. According to her police complaint, Fernanda and her husband arrived in Dumka via Bhagalpur on a motorcycle. They set up a tent in a secluded area near the Hansdiha market and went to sleep.
During the night, a group of individuals forcefully entered their tent and raped her one after the other, in addition to physically assaulting her.
Following the attack, she was taken to Saraiyahat Community Health Centre (CHC) for medical treatment.
SP Pitambar Singh Kherwar, who is handling the case told the press-
“We transported the victims to the hospital because we couldn’t understand them because they were speaking in Spanish and English. It was determined that the woman had been gang-r*ped.”
Three out of the seven individuals connected to the crime have been arrested.
